Insuficiencia Cardiaca is an open access journal. All published articles are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or pay-per-view barriers.

To support editorial operations, peer review management, production services, online hosting, and long-term preservation, the Journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 500 for accepted manuscripts.

The APC covers:

• editorial assessment and manuscript management;
• peer review administration;
• copy-editing and language polishing;
• typesetting and production;
• DOI registration and metadata dissemination;
• online publication and permanent archiving.

There are no submission fees, review fees, or additional page charges. The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication following peer review.

Authors are not charged separately for colour figures, supplementary materials, or online hosting.

Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles, provided that appropriate attribution is given and use complies with the licence indicated on each published article.

By adopting this open access publishing model, Insuficiencia Cardiaca seeks to promote the broad dissemination of high-quality research in cardiology and cardiovascular medicine, particularly in the field of heart failure.
